CAMSC's Diversity Procurement Fair is one of our marquee events designed to incorporate tactical business development, knowledge sharing, and networking. This 2-day conference brings together approximately 350 attendees to learn and connect, creating business-building opportunities. With activities such as the supplier boot camp and corporate member forum, attendees will participate in workshops and panel discussions to continue to make new connections.

FAQs 

There are many types of tickets, which one should I select?  

The general rule is to choose your registration type based on your CAMSC membership status. If you are a Certified Supplier, register as a Certified Supplier. Likewise, Corporate Members should register for the Corporate Member Pass. If you are not a Certified Supplier or Corporate Member of CAMSC, please register as a Non-Certified Supplier or Corporate Non-Member. If you receive a direct invitation from CAMSC to register as a VIP or Partner, please select the VIP or Partner Pass accordingly.          

 

When does the early bird pricing end?    

Wednesday, February 19th, 11:59 PM PST.

 

Can I request a refund of my ticket?         

All ticket sales are final, no refund will be granted.             

 

Is there an official hotel?    

CAMSC has partnered with Hotel X Toronto to offer you special prices on one of the most beautiful hotels in town. The hotel is conveniently located at a short 5 min walk from the Beanfield Center. There is no price guarantee as the prices are dynamic and will change according to availability. Currently, you can save up to 15% booking through our direct link. What is the Matchmaking Session?             

The Matchmaking Session consists of one-on-one matchmaking sessions open to CAMSC Certified Suppliers and Corporate Members. All matchmaking sessions will be scheduled before the conference via the Accelevents platform. By mid-March, Certified Suppliers and Corporate Members will be invited to log in to the event platform and start scheduling matchmaking sessions. All sessions will take place in the afternoon from 2:30 to 4:30 pm EST on the 15th and 16th.         

    

Everything you need to know about the one-on-one  Matchmaking Session 

 

Pre-Booking

  • All registered CAMSC Certified Suppliers and Corporate Members have access to Procurement Fair's portal in the platform Accelevents. A user manual for Accelevents is available for download in the Info Desk. Please follow the instructions to set up your profile and schedule appointments.
  • The platform will close on Wednesday, April 9th at 12 pm EST.
  • Noteworthy: The meeting requests are on first-come-first-served basis, so we recommend you register to attend ASAP to get familiarized with the platform.

 

Scheduling Meetings

  • Search Suppliers or Corporate Members you're interested in meeting with on the platform and send out meeting invitations.
  • Once you receive a meeting invitation, please ensure you accept it or reject it. Please DO NOT leave it pending as this will cause you to lose the time slot without any meeting scheduled.

 

Matchmaking Session Details

  • Tuesday, April 15th from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm EST
  • Wednesday, April 16 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm EST
  • Location: Room 206 ABCD & Room 200 ABC
  • Session Duration: Each session is 20 minutes long with 15 minutes allocated for the meeting time and 5 minutes as preparation time.

 

What to expect onsite

  • All meetings will be conducted in Room 206 ABCD and 200 ABC.
  • Each Corporate Member will be assigned to a table, and the table number will be published.
  • Corporate Members will remain at the table while Suppliers will circulate to attend each meeting.
  • Each meeting is 15 minutes long. After 15 minutes, a buzzer will sound, and you have 5 minutes until your next meeting.

 

Will there be an official app to download for the Procurement Fair?    

Yes, the official app will be available for download soon. You’ll be able to view the conference agenda, read session introductions, bookmark sessions you're interested in attending, and check your matchmaking schedule.   

 

Can I schedule matchmaking sessions in the app?    

You can schedule matchmaking sessions through the app. However, to optimize your search results, we highly recommend using the web version of the platform on a laptop or desktop computer.       

 

Who can attend the Matchmaking Session?          

The Matchmaking Session is open to CAMSC Certified Suppliers and Corporate Members.

Do you have a one-day pass?          

No, we don't offer a one-day pass.

 

Can I share the ticket with my colleague?

The answer is no. Sharing tickets would impact an attendee’s matchmaking appointments, as each email can only be linked to one profile on the platform. Additionally, they would have the wrong badge, as we cannot print a badge with their name if they are not registered.

             

What is a VIP ticket?              

The VIP ticket is for CAMSC's VIP guests and does not apply to Certified Suppliers.  

 

What is the benefit of becoming a speaker at the Procurement Fair?    

As a speaker at the Procurement Fair, you will receive the following benefits: 

  • Biography and headshot listed on the event platform.
  • Promotion as a speaker on the event website, registration platform.
  • Complimentary registration to the Procurement Fair, including: 
  • Breakfast and Lunch for April 15th and 16th. 
  • Morning and Afternoon refreshments. 
  • Access to all Plenary and Concurrent sessions. 
  • Access to all Onsite Networking Sessions. 
  • Access to Matchmaking (Matchmaking is available to speakers who are CAMSC Corporate Members or Certified Suppliers). 

 

What should I expect after submitting my Call for Speakers application?  

  • After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation from CAMSC within two business days. 

    Our program committee will review all applications within two weeks after the submission deadline.

  • We aim to contact all applicants with the results of their application by February 28th. 
  • For speakers who are not selected, we will honour the early bird discount if you miss the deadline while waiting to hear back from us. A discount code will be provided in our communication.

I want to get a booth at the Procurement Fair, how can I register for it?             

We offer the Tabletop Exhibit Sponsor Package, which includes one complimentary pass to the Procurement Fair, promotion of the exhibitor as a sponsor by listing your logo on our website, registration platform, e-newsletter, and onsite signage. The package also includes one 6' table and two side chairs. The Beanfield Centre follows a green approach to venue management, so no tablecloth will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own branded tablecloth to showcase your branding. Please contact our Supplier Team or Corporate Member Team to learn more.

 

What are the hours of the Tabletop Exhibit?        

There are no specific hours for the Tabletop Exhibit. Attendees will have plenty of opportunities to visit the Tabletop Exhibits throughout the conference during all the breaks and networking sessions. The onsite MC will also encourage everyone to stop by and explore the booths.
