Nicole DeKort President & CEO Responsible for the executive strategic leadership, management, and overall direction of the association and acts as the spokesperson for Medtech Canada in promoting key advocacy initiatives for the industry.
Iris Crawford Vice-President of Finance & Operations Oversight of finance, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, membership, information technology, government compliance, telecommunication, human resources, and virtual infrastructure; and works with the President & CEO and the senior management team in the development and execution of operating plans.
Gerry Frenette Vice-President of Public & Member Relations Manages communication activities both internally and externally, which includes responsibility for social media strategies, website, marketing materials, public & media relations, and communications programs and services.
Mia Spiegelman Vice-President of Regulatory Affairs Develops, leads, implements, and manages the Regulatory Affairs strategic initiatives to ensure that Canada has a globally competitive regulatory environment.
Raj Malik Vice-President of Federal Affairs & National Strategic Partnerships Advises, shapes, develops, executes, and delivers on Medtech Canada’s strategic imperatives regarding our association’s government and stakeholder relations at the federal level, including all nationally based stakeholders.

Vice-President, Quebec Advises, shapes, develops, executes, and delivers on Medtech Canada’s strategic imperatives regarding our association’s government and stakeholder relations in Quebec.
Rob Pankhurst Vice-President, Western Canada Advises, shapes, develops, executes, and delivers on Medtech Canada’s strategic imperatives regarding our association’s government and stakeholder relations in Western Canada.
Amy Swanson Vice-President, Ontario Advises, shapes, develops, executes, and delivers on Medtech Canada’s strategic imperatives regarding our association’s government and stakeholder relations in Ontario.
Debbie Gates Strategic Advisor & EA to the President & CEO (part-time – 3 days/week) Manages the President’s office; acts as an advisor on events, educational programs, sponsorship projects, operations management; and supports assigned committees.
Katharine Ashford-Smith Director of Events & Operations Manages the organization’s day-to-day events, administrative and internal operational processes. Also responsible for reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business systems as part of a continuous improvement strategy; recommends new technologies to support key capabilities as required for future growth and to support the association’s strategies.
Gurman Virk Government & Stakeholder Relations Manager Works closely with the Regional Vice-Presidents to monitor legislative, policy, and regulatory activities that may affect the industry and drafts government correspondence, pre-budget submissions, position papers, and other advocacy tools. Also serves as the co-lead (with the VP Federal Affairs) for national initiatives related to digital health & data.
Jo Anne Mulvaney Manager Member Services & Communications 

Manages member recruitment, retention, and engagement, acting as liaison between members and Medtech Canada. As ambassador to past, present and future members, the Manager, Member Services & Communications incorporates the core values of Medtech Canada in all interactions. This position manages membership communications in coordination with the VP, Public & Member Relations.  

Paula Garces Finance & Operations Coordinator Administrative support to the VP of Finance & Operations, assigned committees, office services & processes, and to other members of the team as required. Also supports the Member Relations Specialist and Events & Project Manager in the administration of the membership rogram, events, and other projects.
Maria Lagman Executive Assistant, Special Projects

Administrative support to the executive team, assigned committees, special projects, events, and operations. Oversees the Medtech Canada Member Savings Program and provides additional support to the Office of the President & CEO.
