Wage Subsidies for Hiring Students
Share |

Is your organization faced with labour supply issues caused by COVID-19? Would a talent influx of young, eager students help alleviate some of those challenges? Could you benefit from wage subsidies to offset the cost associated with these hires?

Here’s some great news. As a direct response to COVID-19 and the need for additional healthcare workers, BioTalent Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) has been extended to include Canada’s healthcare sector.

The subsidy covers up to 75% of a student’s work placement to a maximum of $7,500.

BioTalent Canada—the HR partner of and catalyst for growth in Canada’s bio-economy—has a long track record of success managing wage subsidy programs. SWPP alone has placed over 1,500 students. To meet the current demands for talent, BioTalent Canada will place an additional 1,500 students within Canada’s healthcare industry between now and March 2021.

Apply today at to grow your talent pool and provide upcoming graduates with the foundational experience they need to start careers. These spots will fill up fast.
